At Saint James Baptist Church, we value and care for our youth. They are the promise of tomorrow. It is our mission to equip young people with the ability to withstand the attacks of the devil in their daily walk with Christ. We are in the process of updating and establishing several innovative programs for our youth. As of now, our ministry consists of: YOUTH MINISTRY AGES 12-18 CHILDREN’S MINISTRY AGES 6-11 NURSERY MINISTRY AGES 1-5 YOUTH SUNDAY Youth Sunday is a dynamic experience where young people are able to express themselves for the Glory of God. On each third Sunday, our regular 10:45am morning service is under the direction of our youth and their advisors. We encourage innovative presentations to broaden the flavor of our service. YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY Ages 18 – 30 Not to overlook the transition from youth to young adult, we’ve most recently established this much-needed ministry. We are committed to searching out inventive ideas and progressive avenues to help this younger generation cope with their day-to-day challenges. Group outings, rap sessions, volunteer work and peer accountability help these guys keep focused and retain the standards of the Christian life, even with all that the world seemingly has to offer.
