On behalf of the Saint James Baptist Pastor’s Aid Ministry we would like to thank all who helped to make this appreciation service a memorable one. Devotional Thoughts on Marriage "For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." Genesis 2:24 Marriage is a sacred union that God has established. He expects us to “cleave” (adhere; cling) to our spouses making a lifelong covenant until He calls us home. Commitment is the key ingredient to cleaving. A committed couple will hang in there during those not so loving times, which we all know will eventually happen. You must continue to pray together as a couple for the commitment in keeping this sacred covenant just as God keeps His covenant with us.
